CarStream features
Everything the device and the app do for you every day — from live engine data to public trip links.
Live monitoring
RPM, speed, fuel level, coolant and oil temperatures, throttle, engine load, intake, MAF — everything flies over 4G into your browser or phone in under a second. On arc gauges, cockpit-style.
The system asks your engine what it can do. An older car shows fewer gauges, a newer one shows 30+ parameters at once. Nothing to configure.
Speed and RPM over the last minute as a live curve. You can see every acceleration.
"Online" or "last seen 5 min ago" — you always know whether the car is connected.
Fault codes (DTC)
The "check engine" light comes on — and the actual diagnostic code shows up on your dashboard within seconds. You'll decode it before a mechanic explains what's wrong and bills you just for reading it.
A new fault appears on the dashboard and in the app immediately, code included — no waiting for a service visit.
Both stored and pending codes are visible, with timestamps — so you know exactly when each one first appeared.
Clear faults straight from your phone, no separate scanner. If the problem is real, the code comes back — and you'll see it.
Trips & route replay
Just drive. Trips start and end on their own: stop, and the log closes one and opens the next. It works even if there was no signal along the way.
Distance, duration, max and average speed (idle time excluded), fuel used in litres and L/100 km.
The route is colored from green to red — you instantly see where the drive was calm and where you went over the limit.
A jump in fuel level is recognized as a refuel and pinned on the route with its own marker.
One click — and the full trip page with the route and the numbers is available to anyone, no account needed.
You set the tank size per car, so litres and percentages are computed precisely. You see at once what a week of traffic jams cost.
Any route — scrollable and zoomable, in fullscreen, or one click away in Google Maps.
Statistics & summary
How far you've driven all-time, how many hours behind the wheel, your top-speed record — and all of it shareable with friends via a single link.
A smooth weekly-mileage curve — you see when you drove more and when the car was resting.
Home, work, your favorite parking spot — the top 10 places with visit counts on an interactive map.
A snapshot of all your stats as a public link. Frozen at the moment you share it.
GPS & geofences
Live position and trail on a clean dark map. The map follows the car on its own while it's moving.
Forgot where you left the car? The last known spot and a "Directions to car" button for Google Maps.
Draw a circle on the map — and get a push the moment the car enters or leaves the zone.
Share the car's location for an hour, a day or a week — the link expires by itself.
A position fix in 10–15 seconds after startup — not in three minutes.
Speed cameras & voice alerts
Hundreds of Ukraine's speed cameras, precisely matched to the roads. CarStream sees you approaching and warns you by voice through the in-car speaker.
The device picks the voice line matching the section limit — 50, 70, 90 or 110 — and warns a kilometre ahead. A 60-second cooldown means it won't spam you even if you circle around.
The moment the camera is behind you — a short confirmation that you can exhale.
The camera database ships inside and updates itself — no subscriptions or third-party apps. Recorded phrases, not a synthesizer: it works with zero coverage.
"GPS acquired" / "GPS lost" — you always know whether the route is being recorded.
Rules & push notifications
Three rule types — speed, geofence and speeding past a camera. When one fires, the push is already on your phone, and the event with coordinates and time lands in the violations log even if you miss the push.
"Warn me above 130 km/h" — an instant push with the value and the location.
A push when the car sets off and when it arrives — with distance, speed and duration.
Every trigger is stored: time, value, a point on the map. There's something to show.
A separate public link to a specific violation — with a map marker and the numbers.
A push only when you actually passed a camera above its limit plus your margin (default +20 km/h). The record keeps your speed at the spot, the limit and the coordinates — you see exactly where you could really have been caught.
A rule re-arms only after your speed drops below the threshold, plus its own cooldown — a motorway at 130 gives you one push, not a flood every second.
Mobile app
Everything the web dashboard can do — in your pocket. Live gauges, the map, trips, statistics, rules — adapted for the phone.
The app finds a new device nearby on its own and links it to your account — no config whatsoever.
A trip or summary link flies into Telegram, iMessage or email through the system share sheet.
Trips, rules, geofences — everything arrives instantly, even with the app closed.
Look into the past
Every metric of every trip is stored with no expiry. Open last Tuesday — and watch minute by minute what the engine was doing.
Engine, motion, fuel, electrics, environment — each showing only the metrics your car actually provides.
A day, a month or a year — long ranges are downsampled automatically, so even a year of data opens fast and your browser survives.
History is never wiped or hidden behind a paywall — all of your car's data stays available.
